As a big ramen fan this is the best ramen i’ve tried in the Chicago suburbs! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was great! They have lots of tasty vegetarian options as well as the typical meat ones. Well worth the wait for seating and the 40 minute drive from me!

I was a little confused by the menu at first, but that was completely on me. The server was patient and took the time to explain how everything worked, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen, and it was an absolute flavor bomb, rich, savory, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The tiny cubes of pork were like little bites of happiness in every spoonful. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great ramen.

What an incredible dining experience at this place! We loved it, the flavors are amazing, and the portions are super generous. My wife, who isn't as big a ramen lover as I am, was pleasantly surprised and left feeling very satisfied. We'll be back very soon!

Went with my co workers. Was a small restaurant with not comfy chairs. The food was great the broth was full of flavor and unique compare with other restaurants. The compromise was the plate were small portions with add toppings $$. And at the time of payment wasn’t a pleasant experience. Because we were a group of 4 and couldn’t pay individually. The lady gets with actitud. We ending paying by two. I believe all is about more taxes and tips. One of my co coworkers got very upset with the situation. Going to keep looking for a good Ramen restaurant.

Kitakata is the best ramen place in the Chicagoland area. Their green chili shio ramen has such a clean and delicious broth. Their pan fried gyoza is one of the best dishes on the menu. It has the perfect fry every time! Right now they have the Mizore ramen running through the end of March and that one was also super refreshing and delicious. This place is always busy so I recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time. This place is a 45min drive from me, but I frequent it as much as possible. I highly recommend this spot to everyone.
